Contact the Office by calling #(207) 348-6400 or stop by normal open hours at the Post Office/Gift Shop to purchase tickets for the trip. TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED BY END OF DAY ON FRIDAY AUG. 21ST. Must be at the wharf at 8:30 AM and leaving at 9:00 AM. Should be returning around 1:00 PM. More details when tickets are purchased.

EARLY AFRICAN AMERICANS ON DEER ISLE
Thursday, August 27th @ 2:00 PM we will host the 2nd presentation on Early African Americans on Deer Isle by Deer Isle residents Barbara and Alan Chesney. Their talk will share history of African Americans on the Island dating from 1765, and explore how they arrived here, their significant contributions to the Island, helping us better understand our common history. This is a repeat of the session from July 23rd.
